Looks like the Zidell Yards project I spent the last couple of posts on is going to be designed by ZGF Architects. Congratulations guys! I'm told by Rebar that ZGF will be handling the permanent infrastructure design and that Rebar is still going to be handling the temporary container based architecture which will start in the spring.

Chris was gracious enough to take time out of his weekend to meet with me today. We discussed a container house project I'm kicking around.
His advice was very helpful and spanned all the lesser known costs of any new construction, but also the potential savings and advantages of container built homes. I'm sure I'll be taking advantage of his experience more as things develop.
